World Trade Centers

The World Trade Centers will forever be a part of history. While the most popular world trade center was located in New York City, there are World Trade Centers across the world and in most major cities in the United States that work together on any services related to global commerce. In total, there are almost 300 World Trade Centers located in nearly 100 countries.

World Trade Centers are all a part of the World Trade Centers Association, which was founded in 1970 and works to create peace and stability through foreign trade. The WTCA has played an important park in the WTC in New York City and is also located in New York on Lexington Avenue. The WTCA is governed by a 24-member international Board of Directors.

The most notable, however, was the Twin Towers, or the World Trade Center in New York City. Located in Lower Manhattan, the WTC completed its construction in 1973. Not unfamiliar with disaster, the World Trade Center had previously been met with a fire in 1975 and a bombing in 1993.
